Like it's counterpart the VP130, the NEW VP530 is designed to amplify an RIAA equalized phono signal to a Hi-Fi level signal, and is intended for magnetic (M/M) or high output moving coil (M/C) pickups. Since the unit utilizes tube circuitry, the resulting output signal is warm and musical, unlike solid state phono stage pre-amplifiers. This is ideal for the vinyl enthusiast who misses the warmth & detail of valve circuitry or someone wishing to record vinyl onto CD or PC with added clarity. The addition of the USB port now makes it even simpler to archive all your treasured vynil to Hard Drive, CD, DVD or MP3
