 LightSnake by SoundTech is a "Soundcard in a cable," Digital music recording has never been easier. Just plug in your instrument and start recording in CD quality. The SoundTech LightSnake is an intelligent instrument-to-PC cable with an embedded analog to digital converter and signal booster.

Requiring no additional interfaces the SoundTech LightSnake brings new meaning to "plug and play".

This is the 1/4” Jack to USB cable for guitars or other musical instruments. To record audio directly onto your computer simply connect the 1/4” mono plug of the LightSnake cable to your instrument and then connect the USB end to one of your computer’s USB ports. That's it!!

No additional drivers are needed for Win 98 SE / Win ME / Win 2000 /Win XP and Mac OS9 / OS X.
An ASIO driver is in development for recording software that supports this technology.
